Things to do

Experience Marlborough

Walking Tracks

Marlborough is a beautiful destination with rolling hills, wide open landscapes and the miracles of nature everywhere you look.

We have numerous walking tracks located nearby such as the Rarangi-Whites Bay Track, and for more advanced walkers the Pukaka Valley Track.

The Marlborough Sounds is right on our doorstep and walking the stunning Queen Charlotte Track is an exciting way to explore the sounds.

There are various other places to walk in Marlborough including along the Taylor Pass River, the Snout Track in Picton, the Wither Hills and of course along Rarangi Beach!

Wine Tasting

It's well known that Marlborough is famous for it's Wine!

We are spoilt for choice with sensational wineries, some of which have cellar doors that you can visit to taste some beautiful Marlborough wine. Depending on where you go, various wineries also offer small plates, platter's or lunch.

If you let us know what your wine preferences are, we will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Sightseeing

If you're after some other activities or sights to explore in Marlborough there is plenty to do!

The Blenheim Wall Memorial Clock Tower (pictured) is located in Seymour square, which you will find in the centre of Blenheim.

If you're after a stroll around some beautiful gardens, why not pop to Pollard park. A great spot for a picnic!

Not only are we just a short walk from Rarangi beach, but if you want to take a little drive Whites Bay Beach is approx. 15mins drive away. This is also a beach more suitable for swimming.

Visit some local heritage sites, museums or some of the art galleries. We have a pretty impressive library in Blenheim Central too.

Picton is approx. 25km (20mins) away and Blenheim Central is approx. 15km (15mins) from our property.

Additional Activities

There are plenty of other activities in the Marlborough area, including fishing, golfing, a number of festivals throughout the year and why not try some of the fantastic places to eat. If you're interested in any of these activities, please let us know and we'll be happy to provide further information.

Relax

Of course, if you're looking to simply relax and unwind, that's cool too. With plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, you can read a book, take a nap or go exploring on a local walking track to the beach.
